Appliance Parts
Household appliances, large or small, say a great deal about the homeowner. They tell the visitor about what she values, what kind of a homemaker she is and even whether she likes to cook or not. All appliances should come with manufacturer’s warranty, which is a type of insurance that the item will work for a certain amount of time, often one year. If the appliance breaks down or doesn’t work the way it should the manufacturer will agree to repair or replace it free of charge. Warranties can be full or limited. It’s always a good idea to keep both major and small appliances clean, for this extends their lives.

Major appliances found in the kitchen are the oven, the range, the refrigerator and the freezer. Cooktops can also be installed, according to the homeowner’s needs and preferences. Microwave ovens, dishwashers and garbage disposals are also major appliances that the homeowner might find necessary. The number of small appliances a homeowner can buy are almost endless, and can include things considered essential, like a coffee maker, to luxury items like $500 ice cream machines or panini presses. Other small appliances found in the kitchen are toaster ovens, toasters, standing and hand mixers, food processors and blenders.
